Imagine this: a 225m2 competition floor with a 400m running track, an event market, and of course our traditional closing BBQ. A spectacle you don’t want to miss!
Registration for teams opens on Saturday, June 1st and will run to Sunday, July 28th. So find yourself a buddy and start preparing!
We’re upgrading the maximum capacity to 50 competing teams. Teams can be either male-male, female-female or mixed.
The competition has three divisions:
Usually the RTM Buddy Throwdown is an in-house competition but because of our 10th year anniversary we’re doing something extra special. This year we are opening up 10 spots to teams that are made up of an RTM athlete and someone from outside RTM.
So, if you have a friend who trains at another gym in Rotterdam who you want to team up with, make sure to claim one of those 10 spots quickly!
Just like last year our CrossFit Kids get to join the competition as well. Between event II and III of the RTM Buddy Throwdown there will be a Kids event for both the CrossFit Mini’s (age 4-7) and the CrossFit Kids (age 8-12).
Buddy team ticket: € 15 p.p.*
Buddy team ticket, incl. access to the closing BBQ: € 35 p.p.*
BBQ ticket: € 20 p.p.**

This year we’re moving the event venue to PAC Rotterdam, a running club close to RTM Lifestyle Gym (Kralingse Bos). This allows us to go even bigger and better this year, having more space and facilities. For the competing athletes there are changing rooms available.
With the space available at PAC Rotterdam, we can increase the competition floor to 225m2. With thanks to CrossMaxx, we have all the equipment we need to go all-out. In addition, we have access to a 400m running track to add even more challenge to the workouts.
The venue has its own parking onsite which can be used free of charge. If the parking is full you can go to the parking near the Boathouse Kralingen (paid). Next to that there’s a bicycle parking available.
New year this year is an event market. You can find all sort of sports brands and suppliers over here as well as local entrepreneurs.
As always, we’re closing off the event with our traditional BBQ. Attending the BBQ costs € 20,00 p.p. and includes foods and drinks. Get your ticket here.
