The CrossFit Open is almost here!!

It’s almost that time of year again! Each year of the Open is filled with memorable moments. Stories of first muscle-ups, personal breakthroughs, and the beginning of lasting friendships are often sparked during the five weeks of competition in the Open.

Now for all of you who are asking yourself the question, what is the CrossFit Open?

The Open is comprised of five workouts over five weeks, and it starts with 20.1 Open workouts are identified by their year and the order in which they appear. The workouts will be released every Thursday during the five weeks of the Open, and you can watch the live announcement of the workout that will be streamed on the CrossFit Games website.

When will we do the Open?

RTM will be doing the open workouts every Friday all day and Sunday at 10:00 if you missed the Friday or you want to redo the workout.
The open workout is just like any other workout you can do at RTM, but this time the whole CrossFit world will join you!

The great thing about the open is that your fellow athletes will help you through the workout, by counting your reps and judging the WOD, you can focus on the work to get maximum results. The awesome thing about signing up for the Open, is that you can compare those results with your fellow athletes or the rest of the world!

But what if there are movements I can’t do yet?

Don’t worry! Our team of coaches will make sure you will get the correct training intensity by scaling the workout to your needs. We need to start somewhere right? let’s work our way to do the next CrossFit open as prescribed.
